Family walk at Mission Bay

My family and I went to Mission Bay for a walk. We went to the wharf and the sign said only 9 people at a time can go on because of Covid maybe. While I was walking my mum told me about the big mountain across the sea it is called Mt Rangitoto. On our way back to our car we walked over a bridge and down in the water I saw a mummy duck and her 7 baby ducklings swimming and my mum took a picture of them.

This is my family except my mum she is taking pictures.

This is us walking on the wharf.

This is me and Mt Rangitoto.

This is the Mummy Duck and her ducklings.

Pani Popo

Yesterday my Mum and my Aunty made some Pani Popo for our supper. It’s called Pani Popo in Samoan but in English it means Coconut Buns it’s got a sweet coconut cream to dip the buns in and eat. My Uncle made a hot cocoa drink it’s called Koko Samoa and it’s a dark strong cocoa and I don’t like it but my family does. I like milo.

Mixing the flour salt sugar
Then rolling the dough into round balls

Then you put some buns on the plate and eat it. It is delicious.

My Older Sister Jay’Lee

This is my Older sister her name is Jay’Lee she is not with us in Auckland for the lockdown because she lives in Otago she is playing Rugby over there for Otago and I wish she could come back so she can stay with us again. She was gonna come back but because of lockdown the planes got cancelled and she wasn’t allowed to come home I want the lockdown to finish because I can go back to school and my sister can come back home.

Jay’Lee used to work at our school but now she’s gone to Otago.
This is Jay’Lee in her rugby uniform.
I think I want to play rugby like her someday when I grow up like 21 because my sister is a adult now she is 21 years old. I love my sister because she always looks after me and buys me toys online from America.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO MY DAD

This is my Dad Johnny Manase I want to wish him the best Happy Father’s Day in the world. My dad is cool he’s the best dad ever and I’m the luckiest son to have a dad like him. He always worries about me and never lets me be scared of anything and he is funny and weird at the same time. I wish I can buy him a PS5 so he can relax and play some games after he gets back from work I think when I grow up I will buy him anything he wants because he buys me things that I want.

I also want to wish Happy Father’s Day to my 2 grandpa’s my mum’s father and my dad’s father this was a picture of me and my cousin Joscior when we went to Samoa with my Dad and my Grandpa’s. I love them they are just like my Dad because Grandfathers are just like Dads and they look after me and care for me.

Here are some pictures of me and my dad.
